|
|
This is a short film that I made for the 48 Hour Film Project. It was produced by Morgan McCarthy (Makeup Supervisor and supporting actress in Necrophobia), and my girlfriend Laura Bryant was the Assoc. Producer. David Gabriel (Dave on the board) was my 1st AD, Key Grip, and boom. I wrote it, shot it and edited it.
If you don't know about the 48hr film project, it's going to seem a bit goofy, so here's the scoop. To qualify for the project, your film must meet several criteria:
1.) Must be written, shot, edited and completed in 48 hours.
2.) Must fall into a genre selected from a hat the night the project begins.
3.) Must contain a city landmark.
4.) Must contain a specific prop: donut
5.) Must contain a specific character: A. Novabill, Speedwalker
6.) Must contain a specific line of dialogue: "You know I'm keeping a record of this."

Oops, sorry! Mike here was at home doing the snazzy special effects while we were in Fayetteville shooting it. Very cool.
Also, Bunny was cool enough to compose 8 minutes of score for the film in JUST 4 HOURS, with nothing but the script to work from.
Awesome.

Oh, Dave also did a 2nd unit director/DP shoot on Leiah (all the car stuff in the beginning). He actually shot that as I was editing at home. Crazy huh!?
Crap, sorry Dave! I left that out.
