Necrophobia Director visits South By South West
|
Remember these faces, you should be seeing them again very soon. They are Neill dela Llana (left) and Ian Gamazon (right), and they are the co-writers & co-directors of Cavite. Basically, these two guys flew to the Philippines and shot this movie in 10 days, with Gamazon starring and dela Llana behind the camera, and it's the most riveting indie flick I have seen since El Mariachi, as well as the most impressively made in terms of cost & crew. Check it out. The Synopsys from the SXSW site: An American citizen visiting his home country arrives at the Philippines Airport and receives a phone call letting him know that his mother and sister have been kidnapped and will be killed if he doesn't comply with the caller's demands.
